Turbine engine noise modeling - N&R acousticians have over 35 years of experience in jet engine noise prediction and correlation modeling. Noise prediction equations have been developed for NASA, General Electric, and Pratt & Whitney.

Low-thrust interplanetary trajectory optimization code development (NBODY) and mission analyses have been performed for nuclear-electric and solar-electric propulsion systems.

Fatigue and fracture mechanics modeling/prediction of several aerospace and off-shore platform structural components. N&R has also developed a fatigue life prediction capability that accounts for the degradation of material properties over a period of time based on cycle counting using a probabilistic stress distribution model.
